A Mix of Virtual and In Person Workshops
Workshops feature special guest artists who are experts in their fields!
Workshops are all specifically designed for participants who are neurodivergent and/or have Intellectual Disabilities. We welcome performers of all abilities, of all life experiences, all literacy levels and verbal as well as non-verbal communicators.
Workshops recommended for ages 13+
Workshop 1: Tik Tok Theatre – Saturday Oct 23rd 2pm – 4pm EST (Virtual) – Learn how to use the popular app Tik Tok to create content and tell your stories in creative ways.
Workshop 2: Voice Acting for Animation – Saturday Oct 30th 2pm – 4pm EST (In Person) – Learn how to use your voice to create and tell your own stories, just like your favorite cartoons and animations!
Workshop 3: Parody Songwriting – Saturday Nov 6th 2pm – 4pm EST (Virtual) – Learn how to take a song that already exists and change it to tell your story in a fun and musical way!
Workshop 4: Public Speaking – Saturday Nov 13th 2pm – 4pm EST (In Person) – Learn how to tell your stories through writing speeches and monologues and learning how to present them for a public audience
Workshop 5: Dance and Movement – Saturday Nov 20th 2pm – 4pm EST (In Person) – Learn how to use you use creative movement and make your own choreography to tell your stories.
Workshop 6: Casting Actors with Disabilities – Saturday Nov 27th 2pm – 4pm EST (TBD) – Learn from casting professionals about the industry, tips on what to do in an audition and the importance of people with disabilities telling their own stories onstage and on the bring screen.
Virtual workshops require a device with a stable internet connection.
